LA: Continuing with Gold Packets. Expect a quiz on YOUR words, definitions and sentence structure on THURSDAY January 17. Expect homework on Monday and Wednesday.
MATH: Adding/subtracting fractions, estimating fractions & decimals, and problem solving. Each night you will need to come up with 5 of your own problems to present to the class on each topic that is covered in class.
ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: Journaling and Extended responses to math problems.
READING: Group reading with comprehension checks and independent novels. Remember to read 30 minutes every night.
SOCIAL STUDIES: Continue growth of a nation and the development of the Constitution. Expect a test on Chapter 5 on Thursday!
SCIENCE: Chapter 2 Astronomy including the sun and the core of the earth. Expect homework on Tuesday.
