Language Arts: Good job on your list, definitions and writings last week. Be proud! This week's gold packet is due on Wednesday. Again, you will need to know your list, definitions and be able to write chosen words into a story.
Reading: Continue the poem unit. Your project is half completed. It will be going home over the second week of May. Continue working on each different poem and use the examples we talk about in class to complete you work.
Social Studies: The CIVIL WAR finally begins!! Be ready for a test over Chapter 9 and a project using your learning style to wrap up the school year.
Science: Matter Matters! Chemical properties will be discussed this week. Bring in some pennies so we can see a reaction with an acid.
Math: New unit: Fractions, Decimals and Percents. Everyone will be doing a Pie of your Day for a project for this unit. I will have different expectations for each of you.
