FIELD TRIP: FRIDAY MAY 9!!
LA quiz on Thursday this week due to the field trip!
LANGUAGE ARTS: Gold packets with your list of differentiated words: some have 10, some have 20. You must know the spelling, definitions and be able to place your set of words into a story or sentences for Thursday's quiz. Packets are due on Wednesday. Three of you are using your language arts writing and reading skills to work on a major Social Studies project. Please check the board and your other syllabus for the due dates of the project.
READING: We will be putting the final touches on your poem booklets. Be proud of the wonderful work you have done! They will go home with you on Thursday. You decide when to give them to their recipient.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We will finish Chapter 10 on the Civil War. Expect a test on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Homework on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!
SCIENCE: Have you tried your experiment at home? You will be presenting it at the end of the year. We will be working on your paper and poster at school. Homework on Monday night only!
MATH: Fractions into decimals this week. Expect a quiz on Thursday! Homework on Tuesday and Wednesday.
