Week of May 19-23, 2008

Can you believe we only have three weeks of school left? Keep up the great work and behavior!

LANGUAGE ARTS: Gold packets handed out to a majority of the group. Please use your list of differentiated words and have the packet done on Wednesday. Three of you are using your reading and writing skills to complete the Social Studies project.

READING: The Giver continues. Journaling and work sheets will part of your grade.

MATH: We will be finishing up on graphs, both bar and pie graphs. Your final project will be a pie graph of your day. I will expect percentages and decimals on all graph tables.

SOCIAL STUDIES: What a great movie! We will continue journaling as an African coming to America.

SCIENCE: This week will be the week to work on your experiment, paper and poster. It will be all in class so we don't lose anything in transition!
