Language Arts: We will be doing a gold packet with your differentiation word list on Monday. It is due on Wednesday and a quiz on Friday.
Reading: We will continue our study on the fantasy novel of Harry Potter. Starting in January, we will go to Read 180. Your historical fiction Roaring Review is due on 01/05/09.
Math: This week is all about converting US measurements. It will be a slow process but I know you'll understand it by Friday. Expect homework on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Social Studies: We will be entering the 13 colonies this week. A long term project to start thinking about: Sending a postcard to someone from one of the 13 colonies. Which will you pick? Expect homework on Tuesday and Thursday. A test on Chapter 2 is next week.
Science: Astrology week continues. Most of the week will be note taking skills from the book. There will not be any specific homework but you need to review your notes nightly. A test on Chapter One is next week.
