Language Arts: Spelling groups begin this week with a pretest. Homework will include:
Monday: Spelling packets and 3 literary vocabulary terms to define
Tuesday: Subject Predicate worksheets
Wednesday: Spelling words into sentences
Thursday: Study vocabulary and spelling words
Reading: We will begin the Outsiders in class this week. Bring your SSR book daily.
Nightly homework: Read 30 minutes.
Social Studies: Chapter 1 test this Friday. In class assignments will be working on your explorer poster. Homework includes:
Monday: Vocabulary Review: p.18
Tuesday: Chapter quiz: p. 19 #1,2,3
Wednesday: Chapter quiz: p. 19, #4,5 and Timeline #1,2
Thursday: Study
Science: Terms this week. Homework includes:
Monday: Picture of Monday terms: Due Wednesday
Wednesday: Make up 10 questions for a peer quiz on Thursday.
Math: Groups within the classroom. Worksheets for homework on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night unless you are following Mrs. Gunnell's syllabus.
