week of 02/28-03/04/2011
ISATS begin this week. We are taking the math and reading portions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, we will be taking the science portion. I expect you to do your best, eat a good breakfast daily and get a good night sleep daily. We will not have any homework during ISAT week.

REMINDERS: LAST WEEK BEFORE ISATS! REMEMBER TO EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST AND GET PLENTY OF REST!!
WE DO NOT HAVE SCHOOL ON MONDAY DUE TO PRESIDENT'S DAY!
All week in all classes, we will be reviewing extended responses!
LA: Reviewing different styles of paragraphs and answering extended responses. You will have homework on Monday and Wednesday.
READING: Multiple choice responses to stories that you have independently read. Remember your Bluford Review is due Monday, 2/28/2011.
SOCIAL STUDIES: Continue on exteneded responses to stories read indenpendently.
SCIENCE: Plotting and graphing.
MATH: Graphing andinequalities.

Week of 02/14-02/18/11
REMINDERS: ISATS in three weeks. Get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast every morning.
LA: For the next two weeks, we are working on paragraph writing on specific topics and styles. Be prepared with pen, paper and ideas.
READING: Again, we will be reading and repsonding to comprehension questions.
SOCIAL STUDIES: Extended responses continue.
SCIENCE: Chapter two of Astronomy.
MATH: Adding and subracting integers, both positive and negative integers.
LA: For the next two weeks, we are working on paragraph writing on specific topics and styles. Be prepared with pen, paper and ideas.
READING: Again, we will be reading and repsonding to comprehension questions.

Week of 02/07-02/11/11
REMINDERS: Find safe routes to get to school. Cars cannot see over the mounds of snow you might be playing on. Stay safe!
ISATS are 02/28/11-03/04/11.
Health starts 03/08/11.
MATH: Algebra, variable ans solving equations. Expect homework from the pages 260 and on. It will be assigned on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
SCIENCE: Due to the blizzard, the test on C. 1 will be on Tuesday, the 7th. Be sure to study. We will begin C. 2 on Wednesday.
LA: Finishing Workshop 3 this week due to the snow last week. Quiz on Friday.
READING: Bluford #5 review due on Tuesday, 02/07/11. Bluford #6 is due on 02/28.
